Want to do something creative AND help a teenager go on an adventure?
This month, I am helping my nephew fundraise for his school trip by offering three ‘Pay What You Can’ creative workshops.
You can attend in person or online and you can participate at your own comfort level.
Expect to have big fun and to be thoroughly encouraged in your creative efforts.
No donation too small and no donation too big.
And if money is tight now but you’d be able to donate later? Just let me know when you register!

Relaxing Creativity
Online and In-Person
Monday, March 9
7:30-9:30PM (NDT)
Registration: https://forms.gle/gU4b5Pe1DBnWwPmv9
I’m calling this a workshop but really we’re going to be playing around with the creative process and finding ways to relax.
I have a few teeny projects for you to try and I’m hoping you’ll be willing to be awful at each and every one of them.
Yes, I’m encouraging you to be bad at art.
Why?
Because this workshop is about the process, not about the results.
We’re not trying to create a beautiful piece of art, we’re going to play with paint or paper or words and just find some ease for a few minutes.
Picture a little kid lying on their stomach, tongue stuck out of the corner of their mouth as they concentrate, scrawling away at a piece of paper with a crayon – that’s the kind of feeling we’re going for.
You don’t have to be GOOD, you just have to BE.
Bonus points and gold stars if you make a glorious mess of things.
All supplies will be provided for in-person attendees. Online attendees can use any supplies they choose. (Suggestions will be offered but you will not be required to buy anything.)
No one will be put on the spot at any point about anything during this workshop.

Creating Oracle Cards
Online and In-Person
Saturday, March 28
10AM-12PM (NDT)
Registration: https://forms.gle/gU4b5Pe1DBnWwPmv9
If you’re looking for a small creative project that can help inspire your future creativity, I’ve got you covered.
Lots of people use oracle cards for divination or ‘fortune-telling’ but you can use them to explore your ideas, to create journal prompts, for creative writing or for decoration.
Join me on Saturday, March 28 and I’ll guide you through the process of using collage, drawings, stickers, and all kinds of bits & pieces to create a series of oracle cards that resonate for you.
All supplies will be provided for in-person attendees. Online attendees can use any supplies they choose. (Suggestions will be offered but you will not be required to buy anything.)
No one will be put on the spot at any point about anything during this workshop.

Stop Thinking & Write
Online and In-Person
Monday, March 30
7:00-9:00PM (NDT)
Registration: https://forms.gle/gU4b5Pe1DBnWwPmv9
Have you been reluctant to start writing?
Do you have trouble sticking with it?
Are you feeling a bit stuck?
Are you overthinking the process?
Instead of spending your time thinking ABOUT your writing, why not pour your energy INTO your writing?
We’ll explore ways to…
– find the fun in your writing process
– feel energized by your own creativity
– let go of unhelpful mental ‘clutter’
Through coaching, writing exercises, and straight-up, full-on encouragement, Stop Thinking & Write will help you start getting your ideas out of your head and onto the page.
No one will be put on the spot at any point about anything during this workshop.
PS – This workshop is writing-focused but the techniques work with any kind of project – particularly creative ones – so if you’re not a writer but you are feeling a bit stuck, feel free to join us anyway!
